Good Hair! Rachel Roy Reveals Whether Or Not She Is 'Becky' And Why She Posted The Questionable Instagram Photo!
We know who probably won’t be making lemonade this summer! After Beyonce dropped her visual album Lemonade over the weekend, Rachel Roy’s life has been made into a soap opera after fans presumed she was the mistress Bey was referring to in her song, “Sorry.” Finally, the fashion designer is revealing whether or not she is “Becky.”
In a statement to People, she said, "I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that," she said. "There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."
She continued, "Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats. As a mother – and I know many mothers would agree – I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here – the issue of cyber bullying – and how it should not be tolerated by anyone," she said.

In Beyonce’s song, “Sorry,” the 34-year-old sings, “He only want me when I’m not there/He better call Becky with the good hair.”
Shortly after the song’s release, Rachel posted a photo of herself that she has since deleted, with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always.” That only amplified the speculation that she was who Bey was referring too, especially since that elevator fight at the Met gala last year between Solange and Jay Z was allegedly about Rachel as well!
