According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the lawsuit against the 48-year-old’s company, The Agency by Sweetwater Malibu LLC, is stemming from the sale of a Malibu, California mansion.
The house itself was seized by the United States government because Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangu allegedly used money stolen from his native Equatorial Guinea to purchase the luxury home.
In a US government-approved sale, Mauricio sold the mansion to Mauricio Oberfeld for $32.5M. However, Sweetwater Malibu LLC, who owned the home at the time of the sale, claims they were never informed that the Bravo celebrity received much high offers.

Sweetwater claimed Mauricio kept the other offers a secret because he and buyer conspired to buy the mansion together.
The father of three later sold the home for $69.9M — which earned him a whopping $37M profit.
In the court documents, Sweetwater said Mauricio failed to uphold his duty as a real estate broker. “He violated virtually every one of these duties, by engaging in blatant acts of self-dealing, earning secret profits, and both failing to disclose and outright misrepresenting material facts,” the statement read.
Sweetwater Malibu LLC is seeking both unspecified damages and punitive damages.
