'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Star Gina Kirschenheiter's Daughter Goes To Therapy For Developmental Issues
Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter is seeking professional help for her daughter Sienna’s development issues. In a preview for an upcoming episode, the reality star revealed that she has started taking the 4-year-old to therapy.
In the clip, the cameras followed the mother-daughter duo to one of the therapy sessions. Sienna’s new therapist had her complete a series of tests while Gina watched from the sidelines. “This is going to give us a better understanding of her sensory processing,” the therapist explained. In another scene, the therapist told a worried Gina, “I’m going to recommend therapy for her.”
This isn’t the first time the mom of three has opened up about Sienna’s learning and developmental difficulties. Earlier this year, during a meeting, her daughter’s pre-kindergarten teacher first raised the alarm. “I’m getting a little nervous,” the Bravo star said at the time. “She’s having fine motor issues.”
Gina continued, “I had a teacher conference with her Pre-K teacher. And her Pre-K teacher was like, ‘She’s a little bit behind on her developmental skills. She doesn’t know how to write her name.’ And I see all the other little girls in the class and they can fully write.”
The Long Island native also explained that despite their own relationship drama, her estranged ex Matt had been "good" and supportive about Sienna's challenges.

The past year has been filled with many emotional hurdles for Gina. In addition to her daughter's developmental difficulties, she was also arrested and charged with a DUI. She also accused Matt of abuse and ultimately the pair split up.
According to their divorce settlement, Matt will pay $4,500 per month in child support and $5,127 a month in spousal support. They will share joint legal custody but Gina will have primary custody of Sienna and their sons Nicholas and Luca.
In addition to taking a monthly coparenting class, the two have agreed not to talk badly about one another in front of their kids or on television. The former couple also won't introduce the children to any romantic partner without talking to each other first.
Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
