Rebel Wilson, who is new to the sport of skiing, ended up having to be rescued off the top of a mountain in Aspen, Colorado, after discovering she'd gone up too high and couldn't get herself back down! Scroll through to get all the details.
"Alright, guys. I'm lost on the mountain, but I'm going to make it... This is a bit too experienced for me, so I'm just gonna slide down," the Australian born actress said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Sunday afternoon.
Rebel, who was only on her second day of skiing with a few friends when the incident occurred, initially tried to get down the mountain with the help of her ex-boyfriend, actor Mickey Gooch Jr.
"This is Mickey Gooch. You may have heard of him in Aspen and around the world," she introduced him. "Micks is going to get me down this hill. It's a very big hill today, but we're going to attempt it." Attempting to encourage the Bridesmaids actress, Mickey told Rebel she was "going to crush it."
That plan didn't seem to be working out, though, as the next video showed the 38-year-old strapped to a yellow stretcher with a rescuer named Scott preparing to take her down the hill.

In Rebel fashion — always seeing the funny side to every situation — the actress was heard happily laughing as she got settled on the stretcher.
The following video showed the Pitch Perfect star lying flat on her back as Scott towed her back down the mountain.
Later, the actress shared on Instagram that she got down the mountain and is safe and sound. "Just wanted to let you know, I did get back to the hotel safely and I wanted to thank everybody in Aspen for their help on the slopes, because you guys are amazing, you do this all day, every day, whereas me, it was only my second day of skiing," she explained.
"I'd lost feeling in my left foot. I think it was the ski boot. I think it was too tight. I think maybe I need to buy professional ski boots or something," she added, explaining that her footwear was the reasoning behind the somewhat disastrous event.
