Reese Witherspoon And Jennifer Garner Gush Over Ariana Grande's 'thank u, next' Music Video

Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner gave Ariana Grande a special shout out after her video for "thank u, next" was released on Friday! Read on for the main reason as to why each of them did this.
Ariana's highly-talked about video, which is currently number one on The Billboard Hot 100, debuted online Friday and has already garnered 47 million views in only one day.
"thank u, next" featured a ton of references to several teen comedies from yesteryear including the 2004 hit Mean Girls. Jonathan Bennett, who played Lindsay Lohan's love interest in the film, made a cameo appearance in the video.
Ariana also parodied Reese's iconic movie Legally Blonde, which the Oscar winner took note of in her own excitement on Instagram Friday.

Reese shared a split shot (see here) of her as Elle Woods on top and Ariana's version on the bottom with hashtags that included #pinkpower and #ellewoodsforever.
Jennifer shared a similar sentiment about "thank u, next" as Ariana also referenced her character from 13 Going on 30. "Every now and then something comes along and just brightens your day," she wrote on Instagram. "@arianagrande you're adorable. Thank you, pretty girl."
