RHOA’s Apollo Nida Says Phaedra Parks Hasn’t Filed For Divorce In First Prison Interview

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Apollo Nida is holding on to hope he can save his marriage to Phaedra Parks as he completes his eight year prison sentence for fraud.

In his first interview since entering prison, Nida told In Touch Weekly that his wife just may be considering taking him back.

“Yes, we’ve had problems — especially over the last year — but we’ve gotten on terms now where I can call her and it’s cordial,” Nida said.

He added that the couple speak often on the phone and he is “hopeful” they will be able to “stick things out.”

But Parks unfortunately isn’t singing the same tune. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the RHOA star confirmed she is filing for divorce from Nida. And her rep told RadarOnline.com on Wednesday that her hubby’s reconciliation talk is nonsense.
Steve Honig, Parks rep, said “there have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling,” and their divorce “is proceeding as planned.”
Speaking on the couple’s split to Ellen DeGeneres, Parks said she was most concerned about the effect it would have on her and Nida’s sons Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months.
“It is extremely hard. My heart aches for my two sons because they are the heart and soul of who I am. That’s the best thing we ever did together,” Parks said. “We have these great kids. I never wanted to do anything to diminish his character in public. But we’ve had some times where he’s done things that weren’t so cool… weren’t so nice.”
