Phaedra Parks is offering her opinion on the heated exchange that occurred between Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Williams called a meeting with Bailey to address the state of the of the pair’s relationship. But after Williams showed up an hour late and refused to apologize for her tardiness, Bailey offered Williams nothing more than a cold shoulder as they attempted to discuss their issues.
The convo quickly turned into a dissing match for both of the ladies. And Williams’ chat ultimately succeeded at only causing a frustrated Bailey to walk out of the restaurant, leaving Williams sitting alone at their table.
Many fans sided with Bailey’s response to the meeting, claiming she had a right to stand up for herself and call out Williams for being late. But Parks said she was unimpressed with the way Bailey handled the disagreement.

“The exchange between Porsha and Cynthia during this week’s episode was disappointing. I have always thought of Cynthia as a nice person, but her behavior last night was unbecoming,” Parks wrote in a Bravo blog post on Tuesday.

She continued, “Porsha was late and I understand Cynthia's frustration. However, as Porsha's elder, Cynthia should be setting an example. None of us are perfect, but we can all strive to be better. Also, timing and tone are often more important than the content of a message. It is unfortunate that the content and intention of the communication were lost due to a distracting tone and premature timing.”

Bailey and Parks haven’t been on the best terms recently. So it’s no surprise Parks slammed Bailey for the way she handled the situation with Williams. And Bailey’s growing bond with Kenya Moore likely doesn’t help matters.
But what do you think!? Should Bailey have approached the situation differently or was her response adequate? Tweet us @OKMagazine or let us know in the comments section below.
