Teddi Mellencamp laid out some cold, hard truths about her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Lisa Vanderpump during a recent podcast appearance. She wondered why Lisa filmed RHOBH so soon after Vanderpump Rules if she claimed she need a “grieving period” after the death of her brother Mark. Read on for the details.
Lisa regretted not taking a year off from reality television following the passing of her brother, she told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, February 5.
Teddi questioned why Lisa didn’t come to that realization while filming Vanderpump Rules, which she filmed for three months before appearing on RHOBH.
“Here’s the thing. I’m not putting aside somebody’s grieving period or anything like that. I have tons of empathy, but she filmed three months of Vanderpump Rules prior to the Housewives filming,” Teddi said during her appearance on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino.

“I don’t think people really understand that but those are the facts," Teddi continued. "So she had the opportunity to realize okay this is too much. And we’re not being forced to film. We all have the same bosses, so I cannot imagine that if she didn’t want to, that she would be forced.”
Lisa has openly discussed her brother's death on both RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules.
Lisa has also not been getting along with her RHOBH cast members since September 2018. At the time, a story broke alleging that Dorit Kemsley returned one of LVP’s rescue dogs after it nipped at her husband PK.
