‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Star Shannon Beador’s Ex-Husband David Beador is Engaged
Shannon Beador’s ex-husband David Beador is officially engaged again. The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 54 proposed to his girlfriend Lesley Cook nine months after finalizing his divorce from his ex-wife.
Lesley took to her Instagram account on Thursday, January 30, and made the announcement. “Today I said YES to the man of my dreams,” she captioned a snap of her and David.
In the photo, David could be seen shirtless with his arms wrapped around Lesley, who was rocking her engagement ring as David kissed her on the head. Later that same day, Lesley posted another snap of her smiling alongside her fiancé as she flashed her ring. “Looking forward to eternity with my love, I LOVE YOU LOVE !!!!” she wrote alongside the picture.
David began dating Lesley in 2017 shortly after he and Shannon, 55, split in October of that same year. The former couple had been married for 17 years.

During an interview with Us Weekly in March 2018, Lesley opened up about her relationship with David and how the two bonded over their love of exercise. “We met at a SoulCycle class. We love to work out together,” Lesley said at the time.
Shortly after, in July 2018, Shannon revealed to Us that watching her ex jump into a new relationship almost immediately after their marriage was over was painful for her to watch. “It hurt when I first found out, just the way that I found out because they were doing this public, Instagram, childish nonsense,” the Bravo star explained. “I knew I was going to be replaced and that’s fine … It could be any girl, it’s just the timeframe, that’s all.”
David and Shannon announced their split in a statement to BravoTV in October 2017 saying, “After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional period.”
The pair’s divorce was finalized in April 2019. The divorce settlement required David to pay his ex-wife $10,000 per month in combined child and spousal support payments including a one-time payment of $1.4 million to equalize their property.
