PHOTOS‘RHOC’ Star Shannon Beador Says Her Husband’s Cheating Contributed To Her 40-LB Weight Gain

Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has not had it easy lately. She finally broke down in a recent heart-to-heart with her mother as she talked about the stress in her life that has caused her to gain 40 pounds.
Shannon has been publicly battling her weight for a while now. So much so that her friends were concerned for her well-being and said that she was “in a really dark place.”
She became prone to violent meltdowns, and even blamed her feud with fellow RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson for adding on the extra pounds.
But in a recent sit-down with her mother on the hit reality show, Shannon finally came to terms about the real root of her weight gain—and the fragile state of her marriage.

“I know that my husband David is disgusted with the whole thing,” she tearily admitted.
“When I look at myself in the mirror, I don’t like what I see. This is why David is growing apart from me,” she continued.
Then she confessed that David’s past affair is also still affecting her. “I have thoughts about that affair and think, ‘Will I ever get over it?’ Before I was able to forget about the affair because everything was great. It’s like a vicious cycle.”
