On Saturday, November 16, Vicki, 57, told fans at BravoCon that she didn’t plan on returning to the series again to “whoop it up” unless her housewife status was restored. Vicki was an original cast member on the franchise when it launched back in 2006.
“I’m never coming back reduced again,” Vicki said while on a panel at the first-ever fan convention. Fellow housewives’ peers Kyle Richards of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Teresa Giudice of New Jersey and Luann de Lesseps of New York City were also on the panel.
Vicki was bumped down to a “friend of” role during season 14 of the series—she had been on the show for the past 13 seasons. During the convention, one fan asked the OG Housewives how do they know when it was time to walk away from the show. Vicki replied that she just been discussing that topic backstage with Kyle, 50.

“As long as we’re having fun still,” Kyle said, stressing, “I know there’s a lot of drama and a lot of conflicts, but it’s also a lot of fun.”
Vicki’s comments at BravoCon were noticeably different than what she had stated when she appeared on Jerry O’Connell’s talk show. “Our producer, Scoot Dunlop, said, ‘Unless they kick you off the horse, don’t voluntarily get off the horse,’ So, I’m still on the horse!” the reality star said. “I’m still riding the pony.”
The Bravo star also highlighted that she had been enjoying her time on the series. “I don’t know what my future is, but I’m having fun and they’re my friends,” she added. “I have very much love for my franchise — a love for what I’ve created and a lot of love for my cast, we’ve been through hell and back. But truthfully, it’s our reality. It’s what my life has gone through for the last 14 years. And it’s been some bumpiness.”
Since then, Vicki’s time on RHOC has been a bumpy one. This season, the reality star fought with her costar Kelly Dodd, both on and off-screen.
