Bethenny Frankel desperately tried to hold back the tears on her Instagram Stories when she talked about her departure from The Real Housewives of New York City on Friday, August 23. The Skinnygirl founder announced that she was leaving the show on Wednesday, August 21.
Bethenny, 48, spoke to her followers while riding in the backseat of her car.
"So I'm in LA and I wake up and my phone explodes this morning and I want to explain to you that this week I made a really big decision and I have been thinking about it and going back and forth," she began.
"I just decided that when you jump you fly and when I came onto Housewives everyone told me not to do it and I went with my own gut," she continued.
The mother-of-one went on saying "it doesn't matter what anybody thinks when you make decisions, it matters what you think and sometimes you don't even know what you think and in just a moment two days ago I just said 'You know what, let's do it. Let it ride, you know?'"
