Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps admitted that she wants to be the next Bachelorette during an appearance on the Jerry O show on Tuesday, August 20.

Host Jerry O'Connell asked Luann, 54, about the rumor that she wanted to star on The Bachelorette and she enthusiastically confirmed it was true.

"I mean hey, we love The Bachelorette right? But what about our age group girls?" she said, directing her question to the audience.

She continued, "Who wants to see me get matched up? You know, I'm not an online dating person. The Bachelorette for the 'Countess' would be great."
