Ricki Lake Reveals She Lost Her Virginity On The Set Of The 1990 Film ‘Cry-Baby’

Ricki Lake spilled intimate details from her past on Watch What Happens Live! The actress revealed to host Andy Cohen she lost her virginity on the set of the film Cry-Baby when she was 21.
During Tuesday night’s episode, Andy asked Ricki, “Did you lose your virginity on Hairspray or Cry-Baby?” “Cry-Baby,” Ricki replied.
“But not to Johnny Depp?” Andy pressed, referring to the star of the 1990 film. “Not to Johnny Depp — another actor, a really handsome actor,” Ricki hinted.
“He was very kind to me, and I was very large. I was very happy to get it over with cause I was almost 21,” Ricki admitted.

Ricki had nothing but kind words for the mystery man, explaining he was “really sweet” and that her “first time was really a good one.”
Cry-Baby was Ricki’s second film with director John Waters. She’d previously starred in his 1988 film Hairspray. Besides Johnny Depp, Cry-Baby also starred Darren E. Burrows, Stephen Mailer, and Iggy Pop.
