Ricky Martin has married his longtime partner Jwan Yosef! He broke the good news to E! News when asked if he was a husband or a fiancé. "I'm a husband," he confessed, "but we're doing a heavy party in a couple of months." Click through for details on the wedding!
"We've exchanged vows, and we swear everything, and we signed all the papers that we needed to sign — prenups and everything," Martin continued.
As for the "heavy party" the happy couple is planning, Ricky said it will be "the typical three-day party. The dinner, the rehearsal, the party and the recovery."
In 2016, Ricky opened up on The Ellen Show about proposing to his boyfriend. “I was really nervous,” he said, “but I got on my knees, and I took out the little metal box. I just had it in a little velvet pouch. And instead of saying, ‘Would you marry me?’ I said, 'I got you something!' Bad! And then he was like, ‘Yes?’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you,’ and he was like, ‘What is the question?’ (I said) ‘Would you marry me?’ That’s it.’”
