Rihanna has been killing it in the music and cosmetic games for years with her record-breaking hit songs and Fenty Beauty makeup line. But now she's adding to her business empire with her new Fenty luxury fashion label. The singer launched the brand in Paris at her pop-up shop on Wednesday, May 22. Rihanna, 31, turned heads when she wore her own label to her event. All eyes were on her when she sported a loose-fitting white blazer mini dress, a diamond-encrusted ankh necklace and plastic sandals.
The line will debut in a Paris pop-up boutique on May 24 and online on May 29.
Ri Ri made history with the launch when she became the first black woman to design an original brand with the French luxury goods company LVMH. Her brand joins labels like Dior, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, which are all under the LVMH umbrella.
The Ocean's 8 actress is also the creator of Savage x Fenty, a luxury lingerie line.
After the launch, Rihanna brought the party to the restaurant l'Avenue to celebrate her new business venture.
"Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and Fenty speaks to all of our intricacies. Some days I want to be submissive, many days I'm completely in charge and most days I feel like being both...so it was imperative that we created a line versatile enough to embrace and celebrate us in that way," the "Work" singer previously said in a statement.
