Spoiler Alert! 'Riverdale' Cast Reveals Season 3 Deets Ahead Of Tonight's Premiere

KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Luke Perry and Madchen Amick sat down with Andy Cohen on his show, Watch What Happens Live and revealed some spoilers about the upcoming season of Riverdale. The cast are gearing up for tonight's season three premiere by answering some spoiler questions on the show. Keep reading for all the deets.
The cast opened up about the possible musical episode that may occur in season three. Lili said, "Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, our showrunner plans to have it for season three but its not set in stone. So it would be fun! We had a really fun time doing it the first time."
Season two first had a musical episode where the cast sang tunes from the musical, Carrie. The cast hasn't shot the episode and couldn't spill any details yet. But Lili reassured the audience that "KJ is gunna kill it" and alluded to how good his dance moves are.
One fan also asked which cast member is the least happy to sing again in the episode. Madchen then proceeds to admit that she was scared to sing in the previous season two ep. But her on-screen daughter, Lili couldn't help but gush about her "beautiful fairy voice."

The cast then moved on to talking about the much-anticipated flashback episode where the younger cast will be playing their parents in high school way back when. One fan asked how did Michael Conseulos (Riverdale's Mark Consuelos' son who will be playing his character of young Hiram Lodge in the ep) fit into the cast. The cast collectively said it was "really fun" to shoot the flashback.
Andy also revealed that he was the biggest Archie Comics fan growing up and was super excited to have a cameo on Riverdale. The Bravo host played himself in a March 2018 episode.
Season three of Riverdale premieres Wednesday, October 10 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
