Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert have officially jumped into the reality television world, as their series Teyana & Iman premieres tonight on VH1. Their lives as spouses and parents will be documented on the new show, but how much do we know about this gorgeous couple? Here are six things you should know about them prior to tuning in.
It wasn’t necessarily love at first sight when they first met, at least on Teyana’s side. "You know what’s crazy, I actually played very hard to get… I did not like him at first,” she revealed to Wendy Williams during a recent appearance on her show. "Because when I first met him he had just got drafted, he was young, he was doing a lot. I was at a party, and he was drunk and he had his shirt off… there was just too much going on baby!”
He eventually won her over, and after coupling up the model/actress gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Junie, back in December of 2015.
After giving birth, they got officially married to one another almost a year later on October 1st, 2016.

Teyana & Iman are known for keeping their relationship spicy with one another. She revealed to Page Six that the freakiest place they got it on was in a horse and carriage in Central Park!
She spoke to Essence Magazine about the reality of them being labeled as couples #goals and how they still have to work at their relationship regardless of that. "Goals doesn’t mean that you’re perfect, that’s why I’m happy that this show is coming out because it’s going to show our ups and downs, what we go through, how we balance it all and I think balance is key, love is key.”
Even with all their issues, it looks like its nothing but love for the two of them. “He’s just my Prince Charming… my King Charming,” she exclaimed to Wendy. Teyana & Iman premieres tonight at 9:00 PM on VH1.
