Robert De Niro and Dakota Johnson are far from home in Morocco for the 17th Annual Marrakech International Film Festival. It’s the actor’s first public appearance following news of his divorce from his wife Grace Hightower last week.
Both stars were there for different reasons: Dakota as a judge and Robert as an honoree.
Robert has been quite the busy man lately. He recently filmed scenes with Joaquin Phoenix for The Joker, and his Netflix project with Martin Scorsese, The Irishman, is scheduled to be released next year.
Meanwhile, Dakota was radiant at the festival’s gala honoring the legendary actor.

She has been at several events since the festival started on Friday, November 30.
The Suspiria actress is there as a member of the festival’s jury of film critics.
