Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been issued an emergency protective order by the LAPD following his arrest. The Jersey Shore star was arrested on October 4 after an alleged domestic violence incident with on-off girlfriend Jen Harley.
Ronnie, 33, must stay at least 100 yards away Jen, 31. The MTV star must also stay away from the home he and Jen share in Las Vegas. In order to obtain any of his possessions, police must escort him onto the premises.
The order will take full effect on October 11. Jen is also able to request a temporary restraining order. Jen and Ronnie are parents to 18-month-old daughter Ariana Sky and the order does not prevent him from seeing his child.
A third party would have to be present if the reality star wants to see his daughter as the toddler will be staying with Jen.
Ronnie was tasered and then arrested several days ago in Los Angeles for kidnapping after he allegedly chased Jen around their house with a knife.
Fox News 11 broke the news that Ronnie was arrested and the site also shared chilling video footage from the incident where he is handcuffed and being placed in an ambulance. His bail was set at $10,000 and his lawyer spoke out about the allegations shortly after Ronnie was apprehended. “The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro yesterday is based upon pure speculation and innuendo,” his lawyer Scott E. Leemon said in a statement to Us Weekly. “We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded.”
Jenni “JWoww” Farley‘s ex-husband Roger Mathews also recently gave his take on the situation. He told the publication, "Two people can be good people but still be bad for each other and bring out the worst in each other. Learning to be alone and liking yourself plays a big part in how you treat others and how others treat you."
An insider also told the outlet that the father of one is "very somber." The source revealed, "He’s trying to put himself in a place mentally where he’s going to be able to digest all of this. It’s a lot for him to take in. He feels pretty horrible, but he’s in an OK space. He’s just trying to process what just happened.”
