Ryan Gosling doesn't look like this anymore! Immediately after wrapping his press tour in Europe for his directorial debut, Lost River, Ryan's already begun production on his next film in which his character has jet black hair!

For the film, which is based on a book of the same name, Ryan is reuniting with Steve Carell (with whom he co-starred in Crazy Stupid Love), and it also stars Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo. Plus, Anchorman's Adam McKay is the director and screenwriter! Basically, this movie has "Oscars" written all over it.

This movie will mean more time away from Ryan's girlfriend, Eva Mendes, and their daughter, Esmeralda, who live in Los Angeles. But that's for the best since the baby probably wouldn't even recognize her daddy with his new 'do anyway!
