Selena Gomez is back in action! After taking a break following her health struggles, she is releasing a brand new album! During an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the "Taki Taki" singer opened up about her much-anticipated record and what fans can look forward to.

Selena, 26, revealed that fans can expect her album very soon. "I'm actually done. I have to do a few finishing things with it, but I'm just relieved," she said.

"It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album," she shared with host Jimmy Fallon.

Selena has teased new music since April when she dished about her endeavors on the Dream It Real podcast. "Working on this new record, I just wanted it to be me, all me," Selena said at the time.

The Disney Channel alum has not released a full-length album since October 2015. But she has been featured on many singles and collaborations with other artists.

When asked why her record was hard to finish, she said that it was due in part to a few big moments in her life.

"It's just because I've had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that it made me wonder how I was gonna capture that and how was I gonna actually feel good about what I was saying," she said. "So I just kept going and I'm relieved now."

"There's always gonna be a sense of strong pop in my music, but I definitely explored more with electric guitar, a lot of more soulful tracks underneath. It all kind of hits different places that I feel like is my lane for music," Selena added.

The Dead Don't Die star took a break from the spotlight and entered rehab in October 2018 to deal with her mental health issues.
