Selena Gomez thanked her fans for wishing her a happy 27th birthday on Wednesday, July 24. The pop star celebrated her special day on July 22.
"Well I’m 27 now. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words on my bday. Not just the quick notes," Selena captioned a photo of herself smiling in front of a dreamy sunset.
She continued, "The thought that goes behind every word you write usually ends up with me crying grateful tears like I did last night."
"Praying for all of you!! I LOVE YOU," the "Bad Liar" singer concluded.
The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle star spent her birthday week in Rome with her family and friends.
Selena shopped and ate lunch at Pierluigi with her pals on her trip. She munched on dishes such as raw fish and tagliatelle with lobster. She opted not to have a big fancy party and did not have candles or cake. However, she kept it simple by having ice cream and tiramisu.
Just a few days before her getaway, the Texas native served as maid of honor for her cousin Priscilla DeLeon's wedding. The Disney Channel alum gave a sweet speech to honor her cousin on her big day.
