Serena Williams has only been a mom for a little over a year, but she’s already imparting some wisdom on her friend and mommy-to-be Meghan Markle.
During the launch of her clothing line Serena in Miami, the tennis legend told People that pregnancy hasn’t changed the Duchess of Sussex one bit.
“I’m like, ‘How are you?’ and she’s like, ‘No, how are you?’ and I’m like, ‘You’re so sweet, but I’m really asking – how are YOU?’” Serena said. “I’m like, ‘Meghan, stop being so nice…you’re the pregnant one, aren’t you supposed to have hormones, why are you so sweet?’ But that’s always been her.”
Though the 37-year-old admitted she’s being dropping relevant tip and tricks for motherhood when she can, Meghan “still gives her more advice.”

Serena also shared her best piece of advice for first time moms. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, I didn’t know how I’m going to have a baby, and it all came,” she explained. “It’s so crazy, I totally changed, and it literally is like a switch. And so, I say that, ‘It will come.’”
This isn’t the first time the decorated athlete opened up about her friendship with the former Suits star. Back in September she told The Project that she and Meghan “are relying on each other a lot recently.”
