Shannen Doherty Looks Healthy After Breast Cancer Remission

Shannen Doherty is in a better place than she's been in quite some time. Back in 2015, Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer, but in April, it was reported that her cancer was in remission.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star looked healthy as she took a walk with her mom. The 46-year-old star was low-key and wore a white mini-skirt and a graphic T-shirt.

During her breast cancer diagnosis, she shaved her head, but it is clearly growing back, as was shown beneath her cap.

After Shannen realized she is in remission, she said, “Today was and is a moment. What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES. Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting,” she said. “As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial. Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me."

Fortunately, Shannen has had the support of many, and not just celebrities. Her husband, Kurt Iswarienko spoke out about how cancer has tested their relationship.

He told People earlier this year, “For us, it has brought us closer together. It’s one of those times you get to test your mettle as a married couple."
