Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has had one heck of a year when it comes to drama both on and off the show. So did any of the mess with her bitter ex-husband David or her issues with her fellow co-stars cause the mother-of-three to make a drastic change this Christmas? Read on for all the details.
Shannon’s whirlwind year included a ton of legal issues with David as their divorce battle raged. They announced their split in October of last year.
In his latest legal jab against Shannon, this week David filed a request to prevent her from drinking alcohol around their three kids.
Shannon defended herself after he filed the request, claiming he was looking to "hurt and embarrass" her and that she's "taken responsibility" for her mistakes.

As if that wasn’t enough, she and Tamra Judge are being sued by former RHOC star Jim Bellino for allegedly trashing his trampoline business earlier this year. He claimed their comments has hurt his brand process, which they’ve asked him to prove in their case.
So was any of this drama the reason Shannon decided to make a big change this Christmas season? She opted to do something a little bit different with her holiday decorating.
Shannon chose to put up what she called a “beach-themed” tree as opposed to a regular one, which she happily displayed on her Instagram Saturday. Her adorable dog Archie made his way into the picture as he parked himself right under the tree.
