Shannon brought two of her daughters, Stella and Adeline, to the film as her other daughter Sophie was away at a basketball tournament.
The film they saw was Ben is Back, starring Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges. It revolves around a drug addicted teen (Hedges) who shows up at his family's doorstep unexpectedly on Christmas Eve.
