Single and looking seriously fine, Jordin Sparks attended the 2014 WedMD Health Hero Awards in New York City last night.
So how is she after breaking up with her boyfriend of three years Jason DeRulo? Judging from that smile, she's doing just fine!
The celeb attended the event wearing a pair of hot skinny jeans, a black shirt, topped with a black leather jacket. She pulled her long locks into a tight ponytail and finished off her look with a coat of bold red lipstick.
So why did this stunner and her man call it quits? According to Jason, it had to do with continual fights and pressure to wed.
"Every relationship has ups and downs. There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad bad times, it’s time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy,” Derulo said to Ryan Seacrest during an interview.
And this girl has great advice when it comes to getting through a breakup.
"I read this book the other day. Actually, it was yesterday. It said when something unexpected happens in your life or you think something bad is happening, just say ‘plot twist’ and move on,” said Jordin during an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
