Though Sofia may attribute some parts of her amazing body to fabulous genes, she has Pilates to thank for perfecting it. But not just any Pilates—specifically a technique called SLT, which stands for strengthen, lengthen, and tone.
The Modern Family star hits up the 55-minute high-intensity class whenever she’s in New York City.
In fact, according to SLT founder Amanda Freeman in a new interview with US Weekly, the actress is “actually an OG SLT client… She’s a devotee of The Megaformer. She was with us from our early days at our original studio. She came the first year we were in existence six years ago.” And clearly the devotion has paid off!

The 46-year-old is such a fan of the technique and its results that she even does it at home on her own when she can’t get to a class. “I have a Megaformer, which is like an advanced Pilates machine,” she told Women’s Health UK.
And Sofia’s hubby Joe Manganiello has also been a fan of SLT, since he and fit and fab bride are inseparable!
