Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello seem to have it all—good looks, great chemistry, and and did we mention good looks? So why is it that Sofia refuses to appear on the big screen with her soon-to-be-husband?

Joe recently revealed that the Modern Family beauty didn’t even bother looking at a script he showed her, which would allow them to work together as co-stars. And fans can blame Bennifer (remember that nickname?!) for that.

"I gave her the script and was like, 'Please read this. It's such a good part for you and it’s amazing for me,'" the Magic Mike XXL hunk told Haute Living magazine. "And she said, ‘No, I’m not going to make Gigli,’ and kind of threw it on the ground."

As everyone knows, and likely wants to forget, Gigli was the 2003 comedy romance flop that co-starred former lovers Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old finally revealed how he proposed to Sofia in Hawaii last year at the Kauai’s St. Regis resort. “We had this big bay window that I opened up, and the sun was going down pink over the mountains and over the bay, and I had this ring. I had looked at every ring in the world, and this is the ring that I wanted," he said. "I had a whole speech prepared in Spanish.”
