Tamar Braxton and Toni Braxton took to their Instagram pages on Thursday to share their sadness over the shocking death of Prince!
Tamar admitted that her “heart is broke” over the news of the music legend’s death, lovingly telling him to “rest easy.”
And being a music icon herself, it was no surprise that Toni also took to her IG to share just how hurt she was over learning of Prince’s passing!
“Im speechless & truly heartbroken,” she captioned the photo of Prince she posted on her page.

Both of the singers — like numerous musicians, performers and entertainers around the world — have previously credited Prince for being a creative inspiration for them during their music careers. And Tamar and Toni’s fans took to the comments sections of their posts to offer their own loving words about the icon!
Prince’s publicist confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the singer died at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Carver County Sheriff spokesman Jason Kamerud said that authorities were investigating a death at his Paisley Park compound. However, the department currently isn’t releasing any additional information on the matter.
