Betrayed! Towanda Braxton Teases ‘The Real’ Co-Host Casting After Tamar Braxton’s Firing Scandal Breakdown — Did She Replace Her Sister On The Show!?

Tamar Braxton’s The Real firing scandal seemed to be quieting down a bit following her shocking reunion with members of the show’s cast and crew at Essence Festival over Fourth of July weekend. However, the drama was recently reignited after Braxton’s sister Towanda Braxton teased she may be replacing Tamar on the hit talk show!

In a recent interview with TMZ, Towanda was asked if she would be snagging Tamar’s The Real seat!

“I haven’t heard that rumor,” Towanda said, later adding that the talk made for “a nice rumor.”

But she fueled the speculation about her rumored move to the show when she added that she “doubts” that Tamar would be angry if she did indeed land the gig!

Tamar and Trina had a months-long feud at the end of 2015, that led to the sisters not talking for three months. So many of their fans are hoping that The Real chatter won’t drive make for more issues between the two — who have been on good terms since Tamar’s health crisis in November 2015.

Towanda isn’t the only Braxton girl to face talk she’s replacing Tamar, though. Both Traci Braxton and Trina Braxton have also been named as rumored replacements on the show. But they have both slammed the talk, saying they have no plans to join the The Real.
