She was at the FOX TCA event in West Hollywood promoting season two of her hit show Empire, on which she plays the fierce and foxy Cookie Lyon.
The 44-year-old carried a striped clutch, wore her hair in long waves, and rocked a colorful manicure!

A new trailer for Empire was released with Lucius Lyon in jail, Cookie plotting to talk over the family business, and lots of drama between the three brothers!
Show creator Lee Daniels told critics to expect a spin-off series based on Cookie’s life. “'Without question. There's so much ripe story that we've talked about already, about Cookie's family, what makes her her. That in itself is fascinating to me,” said Lee.
