Shortly after the blog was published, Justin, 25, who was discovered by Scooter over a decade ago, came to his manager's defense on Instagram.
"Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you!" Justin wrote at the time. "As the years have passed we haven’t crossed paths and gotten to communicate our differences, hurts or frustrations. So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn’t fair."
"What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? Seems to me like it was to get sympathy. You also knew that in posting that, your fans would go and bully Scooter," he added. "I feel like the only way to resolve conflict is through communication. So banter back and forth online but I don't believe it solves anything."
Taylor's fans did not take Justin's words very lightly.
"'We haven't gotten to communicate our differences.' You cheated on her best friend and then publicly sided with the man who made revenge porn against her was she supposed to invite you over for tea??? F**k outta here," said one fan in particular on Tumblr.
The supporter's comment, which referenced Taylor's long time BFF, Selena, 26, and Kanye West's "Famous" video, was then allegedly liked by the "Bad Blood" singer. This seemingly confirmed that Justin did in fact cheat on Selena at one point.
As fans know, the former couple dated on and off for years before they went their separate ways in 2018 and Justin married model Hailey Baldwin in September.
While Selena and Justin have never publicly mentioned any type of affair, the Canadian did talk about their relationship and getting himself "into trouble" during an interview in 2015.
What do you think of Taylor slyly confirming that Justin cheated on Selena? Let us know in the comments below.
"It's like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You're on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you're just getting yourself into trouble," he told i-D at the time.
