On March 3, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice experienced a devastating loss when her mother, Antonia Gorga, passed away at the age of 66. The matriarch was buried on Monday, and Teresa has released a video revealing the touching tribute held in Antonia’s honor that day.
In the video, posted to Instagram, funeral attendees can be seen releasing dozens of white balloons into the sky, as Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” plays in the background. Teresa captioned the emotional post, “Clear skies all the way to HEAVEN for my Mommy.”
While Antonia’s cause of death has yet to be revealed, RadarOnline.com learned the funeral took place in North New Jersey. “The service was private and was just for the family and a few close friends,” a source told the site exclusively.

“Teresa was very strong but it was emotional,” said another insider. “She is crushed about her mom’s death.” Adding to the devastation is the absence of Teresa's husband Joe Giudice, who is currently serving a 41-month sentence in prison after being convicted for fraud.
In an Instagram post following her mom’s passing, Teresa called her mother “a very cherished part of our family” and thanked fans for their support.
“My heart breaks for your. Prayers coming your way,” wrote one follower. “Know there are so many people sending you, the girls, and your family love,” wrote another.
