Teresa Giudice is a new woman inside and out! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s lawyer James J. Leonard updated fans on how his client is doing as she reaches the midway point of her 15-month sentence for fraud, dishing that she’s turned to prayer and exercise!
“She's taking care of her body, she's taking care of her mind," the attorney told E! News. "She's re-prioritizing things in her life."
James expects the Bravo star to “emerge stronger, more focused” after turning to God. “She's getting back in touch with her faith,” he explained. “She's spending a lot of time praying in there and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people."
She’s also getting stronger physically! In addition to running on the prison’s track and doing yoga, she’s also “eating very clean.” He added, “She looks extremely lean and fit. I can tell that is helping her mentally deal with it.”
Expected to be released from prison by Christmas due to receiving an early release date, the reality star plans to spend her days with her family. "Being with her children, being with her family, being with Joe…and then kind of getting back into whatever she's going to get back into," he said. "If that's television, if it's different projects, if it's getting involved with a restaurant, etc.—there are so many opportunities that she has.”

RadarOnline.com released photographs of her husband Joe Giudice on a double date with another woman. Despite the cheating claims, her lawyer insisted that the duo isn’t headed for a divorce. “I think she's going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is, 'I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes.'"
While she can’t wait to be with her family once released from Danbury, she is still very much involved in their lives. “She's able to communicate frequently through email and with respect to her telephone minutes," the lawyer said. "But those visits, you can kind of escape your reality at that time and you can be with your family, you can hug and kiss them, but at 3:30 they have to leave. That's a very sad situation, but she's dealing with it really well."
