The 32 Biggest Teen Mom Headlines of the Year

Jenelle Evans started off the year on an interesting note. She had a quickie shotgun wedding to Courtland Rogers, suffered a miscarriage, and then filed for divorce. All of this happened in January, FYI.

In February, Jenelle Evans checked herself into a rehab facility in Florida, reportedly at the urging of MTV. But, a mere four days later, Jenelle left treatment and returned home to North Carolina.

Also in February we got some happier news—Leah Messer had given birth! On February 4, Leah welcomed her third daughter and her first with husband Jeremy Calvert, Adalynn. Isn't she a cutie?

But in March, it was bad news as usual, when Courtland Rogers got arrested on six different charges, one of which was the domestic abuse charge Jenelle put against him.

March also was not so kind to Farrah Abraham, who got pulled over for a DUI. She made up ridiculous excuses at the time, but finally admitted to driving under the influence in June.

Also in March, though, we got news of another Teen Mom 2 baby! Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin revealed that they were expecting their first child together, making Isaac a big brother.

In March, despite filing divorce papers, Jenelle and Courtland were still hanging out and got arrested again—this time for heroine possession. And as we'll soon learn, Jenelle has been paying the consequences for this arrest for most of the year...

But once she got out of jail, Jenelle got right back on social media and started a Twitter feud with Farrah Abraham. This is a screen shot from the Keek video where Jenelle called out Farrah for being "f****ing annoying."

And speaking of Farrah, May was a big month for her—her porno, Backdoor Teen Mom, officially hit stores and the internet, after being sold to Vivid Entertainment in April.

Also in May, Jenelle Evans had yet another bout in the slammer when she turned herself in after missing her court date. This court date was to address cyber-stalking charges put on her by her other ex, Gary Head. Are you following?

But how about some happy news, eh? In June, Leah's ex Corey Simms married his girlfriend, Miranda Patterson, in a low-key ceremony. Shortly afterwards, they adopted a puppy together.

But hey, Jenelle wanted in on the couples action, too. In June, Jenelle introduced her Instagram and Twitter followers to her new boyfriend, underwear model Nathan Griffith. They were rumored to have bought a house together just a few weeks into their relationship.

In June, gorgeous mama Chelsea Houska put out ambiguous tweets that she had been dumped by her fling Andrew Craft, who she had met online. This was around the same time that she started posting gorgeous selfies like this one of her slimmed-down new figure.

While things were going swimmingly with Nathan, July brought on more troubles for Jenelle, both legal and health-wise. That month she and Courtland were publicly fighting about their divorce, and Jenelle also had to get an emergency appendectomy.

In June, we got to see what Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were up to when season 3 of Couples Therapy debuted on Vh1. The couple called off their engagement during the show, but thankfully they're still together.

In July, after taking ownership of her DUI, Farrah admitted herself into rehab, but didn't end up staying the full 10 days. She was reportedly thrown out for bullying behavior, but we're not sure what to believe at this point.

In August we got more Teen Mom on TV when MTV aired Maci Bookout's special, Being Maci. There were rumors that it would lead to a full-season pickup of Maci's spin-off show, but that hasn't been confirmed or denied.

Despite getting more visitation rights with her son, Jace, Jenelle Evans went back to jail in August for 48 hours after getting caught with "drug paraphernalia."

In August, just before Teen Mom 3 premiered with its first season on MTV, Mackenzie Douthit announced that she and Josh McKee were getting married—and were expecting their second baby together.

Later that month, Teen Mom 3 premiered on MTV and introduced us to a whole new crop of girls. MTV revealed in December though that the show wasn't picked up for any more seasons. Boo.

Right around Labor Day, Adam Lind welcomed his second daughter into the world. His girlfriend, Taylor Halbur, gave birth to their baby, Paislee, and the couple is still together.

Well into the third trimester of her pregnancy in September, Kailyn Lowry had taken a private, lingerie slash nude photoshoot of her pregnancy that got leaked online. None of her parts were actually showing though, so phew.

But Kail got over it quickly and on September 21, 2013, she and Javi Marroquin tied the knot. Their wedding was held at a gorgeous aquarium.

But Farrah, not be outshined by her Teen Mom family, started work on her new sex toy line in September, where molds were taken of her actual genitalia. G-ross.

And even though Jenelle was sort of back on the right track, her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, got arrested in September for reckless driving during a car chase.

Also in September, Catelynn Lowell made the Teen Mom community proud when she won an award at Canada's TeenzFav Awards.

But it was bad news again in October, when Maci Bookout's brother, Matt, got into a bad motocross accident. He's doing better today but is still recovering.

Also in October when she was about 8 months along, Kailyn Lowry revealed that she wanted to encapsulate her placenta after giving birth, which is supposed to be a healthy supplement for the mom and the baby. Fans were majorly grossed out (and mostly not supportive) of her decision, but she went ahead with it anyway.

The first week of November was a big one for Amber Portwood, who got released from jail after about 12 months in the slammer. MTV is reportedly filming an MTV special about her life post-prison that'll air in 2014.

November was also a good month for Chelsea Houska, who finally graduated from beauty school at that time. This adorable photo of her hugging her dad, Randy, says it all.

On November 16th, Kailyn and Javi welcomed their son, Lincoln Marshall Marroquin. Soon after his birth, the proud new parents started sharing adorable pics of their new baby on Instagram, like this one.

And Jenelle is certainly ending the year on a better note than she started it. In December, Jenelle revealed that she and Nathan are expecting a baby (which they planned, BTW) and that she's clean and sober. To 2014, everyone!
