The Cheating Scandals That Hurt Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert's Marriage
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert leave a Post Grammy Party
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced on Monday that they are divorcing, just four years after exchanging “I do’s.” Fans were hoping country music’s power couple would stay together, but after numerous scandals that rocked their marriage, it is hard to say that we did not see this coming.

Miranda and Blake married in front of 550 of their closest friends in Texas in 2011, but met in 2005 and were married to other people at that time. Both denied they were intimate prior to breaking up with their partners.
Miranda was reportedly not too happy when Blake brought Sheryl Crow onto The Voice in 2013 as his team’s adviser. RadarOnline reported at the time, “Sheryl’s been texting and calling Blake during off-hours, and Miranda is extremely annoyed.”
And did Blake get too flirty on social media? In 2013, he was criticized by fans for flirting on Twitter with singer Cady Groves. He denied having an inappropriate relationship with her.
Since that scandal, Miranda was reportedly concerned about Blake’s commitment to the marriage. "Since the Cady scandal they've done a lot of work to their relationship," a source said at the time. "But Miranda knows she can't change Blake, being a flirt is in his DNA."

And while Miranda previously said that getting a divorce “is not an option,” during an interview, on Monday she and her soon-to-be ex-husband announced their divorce and released a statement stating, “This is not the future we envisioned.”
Another issue they seemed to have during their marriage was spending enough time together. Their busy schedules often kept them apart for weeks at a time. Blake reportedly tried to make things better by bring Miranda onto The Voice but she turned down the offer.
And we all have our vices, but Blake’s interest in drinking reportedly hurt their relationship.
Earlier this year, Miranda didn't even mention her husband in her 2015 Grammys acceptance speech, though she thanked numerous other people for their help in getting her to where she is today.
And that’s not the only time Miranda raised eyebrows. She was spotted flirting with fellow country crooner Chris Young during a fun night out at Losers Bar in Nashville in February. "Miranda and Chris were really into each other," an eyewitness told Star.
Although Miranda and Blake have always insisted that the rumors were false and their marriage was rock-solid, it looks like that wasn’t true after all. What are your thoughts on their split? Did you see it coming? Let us know in the comments section below.
