This weekend marks the release of the next YA-book-turned-movie craze, The Maze Runner, starring the very hunky Dylan O’Brien from Teen Wolf. We chatted with some of the cast at the red carpet premiere and asked them which celebrity they’d want to be stuck in the maze with, which memory they’d want to retain in The Glades (the maze) if they could only pick one, and what their worst nightmare is. And let us tell you, we got some pretty good answers…

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in The Glade with and why?

Chris Sheffield, who plays Ben: I think Liam Neeson would be great. I wouldn’t have to do anyhting. I’d just follow Liam Neeson around. He kicks ass.

OKMagazine.com: The Grievers in this film are terrifying. What’s your worst nightmare?!

CS: My worst nightmare…I’m claustrophobic. It’s a weird claustrophobic though. If I have a ton of people in a small elevator, that freaks me out. I just get hives.

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in The Glade with and why?

Kaya Scoldelario, who plays Teresa: See I keep thinking about this and you’re like, “Oh you want the big strong guy who will protect you,” but I just want my dog there. He can bark and scare things off. And he’ll give me cuddles at night. He’s a celebrity in my eyes.

OKMagazine.com: If you could only retain one memory when you got to The Glade, which memory would you want it to be?

KS: Ooh! That’s a good one. This week in New York, actually, has been the happiest of my life.

OKMagazine.com: How do you think this story would’ve been different if it was all girls stuck in the maze instead of boys?

KS: I wouldn’t have wanted to be there. Oh my god, with all actresses! Wow. I don’t know. But in the second one you’ll see a glimpse of that, you’ll see what that’s like.

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in the Glade with and why?

Jacob Latimore, who plays Jeff: My childhood crush was always Meghan Good, so her.

OKMagazine.com: How do you think this story would’ve been different if it was all girls stuck in the maze instead of boys?

JL: I think it’d be better! It’d be way better. There’d be more action than with guys. I already see Kaya as the main chick. Jennifer Lawrence would be in there, probably JLO…

OKMagazine.com: The Grievers in this film are terrifying. What’s your worst nightmare?!

JL: I’m scared of squirrels. I hate squirrels. So just imagine how the grievers make me feel.

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in The Glade with and why? Alexander Flores, who plays Winston: Jennifer Lawrence. She could get me out easily. I mean, have you seen her in The Hunger Games? I think she’s everyone’s celebrity crush.

OKMagazine.com: The Grievers in this film are terrifying. What’s your worst nightmare?!

AF: I’m afraid of clowns. If the clowns were the Grievers, I’d be running forever. Faster than if a Griever was chasing me.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who plays Newt: That would be Gordon Ramsay. He’s pretty hard, he wouldn’t take any nonsense. AND he’s a very good cook.

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in The Glade with and why?

Ki Hong Lee, who plays Minho:I’d take Liam Neeson. Or Hugh Jackman. Either one of those guys, they’re pretty bad ass.

OKMagazine.com: How do you think this story would’ve been different if it was all girls stuck in the maze instead of boys?

KL: Oh, that’s interesting. I would love to see that actually. It’d be a different take on it. You can totally do it where it’s reversed.

OKMagazine.com: Which celebrity would you want to be stuck in The Glade with and why?

Dexter Darden, who plays Frypan: Michael Jackson. He’s my biggest inspiration. I think we’d Moonwalk our way through the Glades together. But also I’d like someone like Bruce Willis who could walk around with guns. Or The Rock. He’s a big guy.

OKMagazine.com: The Grievers in this film are terrifying. What’s your worst nightmare?!

DD: Great question. I dont know, I would probably say I’m afraid of like, spiders. They’re so tiny but they’re so deadly. If they bite you they’re done. I kill them most of the time but I’ve seen my mom get bitten by a spider before and her leg swelled up.
