Could there be a baby on the way for Jeannie Mai? That’s what she hinted at on the season premiere of The Real on September 16. After Jeannie, 40, made her relationship with rapper Jeezy official on August 29, the couple couldn’t be happier, and it appears that the talk show host may be ready to be a mother.

During a segment of The Real, Adrienne Bailon told the live audience and viewers at home to head over to Instagram to enter a shoe giveaway. However, she was interrupted by Jeannie, who rocked a colorful heel back and forth on her shoulder like a baby. She exclaimed, “Look at me! I’d be such a good mother!” The audience exploded with applause.
Her cohost Adrienne, 35, responded, “Jeannie, is there something you’d like to tell us?” Jeannie said nothing, and Adrienne said, “Season premiere! Jeannie has an announcement she’d like to make, everyone!” “I’m still working on the names!” Jeannie joked, as the audience cheered once more.
Jeannie and her boyfriend, 41, were first linked in January 2019 when Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq shared a picture of them together on Instagram.

She downplayed their budding romance at the time. “You guys know that I’m multi-dating right? Jeezy and I hang out. He’s very special to me, so we don’t really have a label to define what it is we’re doing. We’re just having a good time together," she told her cohosts on The Real.
Since they made their debut as a couple at the rapper’s SnoBall Gala, Jeezy gushed about Jeannie in a recent interview, saying that she’s amazing. He also dedicated a cute “Woman Crush Wednesday” post on Instagram to her on September 4. The lovebirds wore white shirts with silver jewelry, and Jeannie rocked a bold lip.
The Def Jam singer shared another PDA-packed social media post on September 12. The couple smiled and embraced as they stood in line waiting to order food. Whether or not Jeannie’s announcement on the season premiere is true remains a mystery.
