The View cohost Sunny Hostin claimed Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel yelled at her child on the beach! Sunny said she wasn’t surprised Bethenny had a public blowout with Luann de Lesseps on the June 12 episode of RHONY because she’s experienced it firsthand.
Sunny, 50, and her fellow cohosts were discussing Bethenny’s drama with Luann, 54, on The View on June 13. “I don’t know Bethenny, but I have seen her behave like that on the beach,” Sunny claimed.
She continued, “I have seen that kind of behavior when Bethenny yelled at my child at the beach.”
“It was in the middle of the day," Sunny said, describing the incident. "And my child was about 7, playing with other children at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon and she said that her child was napping inside with the window open, and that our children were being too loud on the beach.” The Bravo star has a 9-year-old daughter named Bryn.

Sunny added, “She yelled at my child, and I went out there and stood in front of my child, and I yelled at her and told her that adults should speak to adults.” The View host also claimed, “Bethenny knows I’m telling the truth.”
A source close to Bethenny, 48, denied the beach altercation ever happened. “Bethenny doesn’t even know her. It seems so strange that Sunny has such a fixation on her,” the source told People.
“Sunny spoke negatively about Bethenny during her Puerto Rico efforts and she continues to do so. Not sure what her issue is,” the source added.
