‘The Voice’ Star Beverly McClellan Dies Following Long Cancer Battle

Fans were devastated on Wednesday to learn that The Voice star Beverly McClellan has died after a long battle with cancer. The 49-year-old singer was the third runner-up on the series' very first season. Read on for more details.
Beverly, who was on Christina Aguilera's team during her time on The Voice, recently took a turn for the worst after battling stage 3 endometrial cancer for about a year, RadarOnline.com reported.
Fans will always remember her for her incredible Voice audition, where she sang "Piece of My Heart," and her duet of "Beautiful" with Xtina.
Following her time on the show, the talented singer toured the nation with the other Voice finalists.

In 2012, Beverly was nominated alongside musicians like Lady Gaga for GLAAD's Outstanding Music Artist. She ultimately lost the award to Mother Monster.
