The Weeknd Has A Brush With Death As He's Nearly Hit With Falling Stage Equipment

When performing in Mexico City on Monday night, The Weeknd gave more of a suspenseful show than anticipated. While singing, he narrowly missed being struck down by a piece of falling stage equipment. Read on for more details.
In a video posted on the singer's Instagram Stories, a piece of stage equipment is shown falling from the ceiling just inches from where The Weeknd was performing.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, didn't appear phased at all by the incident.

As the equipment crashed to the floor, The Weeknd didn't miss a beat. He continued to sing "Party Monster," off his album Starboy.
On his Instagram, the "Call Out My Name" singer also posted a clip of himself performing in the pouring rain. "MONTERREY WAS A STORM BUT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL," he captioned the video. "MEXICO IS SO ALIVE."
Meanwhile, his girlfriend Bella Hadid was in another part of the world, posting cute videos from her time on set of a photoshoot. The two recently reconnected after breaking up last year. The Weeknd and Bella celebrated the model's 22nd birthday together this month.
