Tia Mowry-Hardrict Reunites With Her ‘Sister, Sister’ Mom Jackée Harry
Tia Mowry-Hardrict reunites with her former television mom! In a special holiday-themed episode of Tia’s Netflix show, A Family Reunion, the actress, 41, shared a special moment with her Sister, Sister mom, Jackée Harry.
“I can’t believe you did that to your sister…sister,” Tia’s character, Cocoa McKellan, told the 63-year-old's character as they shared an animated look in the special’s trailer.
Netflix revealed that in the festive episode, the McKellans would face “ghosts of Christmas past." The holiday special will be called A Family Reunion Christmas.
Jackée played Lisa Landry, the adoptive mother of Tia in the ‘90s hit sitcom. The show also starred Tia’s twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housely ,Tim Reid and singer Marques Houston. The series aired its first episode on April 1, 1994, and lasted for six seasons. Its final episodeaired on May 23, 1999, with an episode entitled “Fly Away Home.”

Earlier this year, Tia opened up about her return to the small screen. The actress called her work on Family Reunion “just really refreshing and really rewarding.” The Cooking Channel star gushed over the show’s all-black writing room and explained that the show’s scripts were all based on real-life experiences.
There’s this raw, rooted, grounded authenticity that is being portrayed in the pages and the storylines,” she said in an interview according to PEOPLE. "We had 20 scripts, and I was so excited to read every single one of these scripts because of the stories that were being told.”
Tia recently opened up about her fitness journey and how she got back in shape after having her second child in May 2018. Fans flocked to the mother of two’s Instagram to praise the actress's post-pregnancy body on Friday, November 8.
The Twitches star posed in a form-fitting one-shoulder black dress with matching heels and had her hair pulled back. “Here’s to strong women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise then,” the actress captioned the snap.
