If Tom Hanks' Pacific Palisades home looks a little too low key for an A-lister of his stature to live in, it's because it is!
Hanks, who doesn't live in the home, has listed the beach pad for $5.225 million, and OKMagazine.com can take you on a tour, courtesy of Zillow.com.
The 56-year-old purchased the property, with wife Rita Wilson, in 1988, hot on the heels of his Oscar nomination for Big, and when their star power was still rising.

The couple purchased a more befitting and spectacular mansion three years ago for a cool $26 million, which is where they currently reside.
That said, the Palisades place is not to be sniffed at by us mere mortals.
According to Zillow, "The home is described as a 'legendary villa' hidden behind privacy walls and hedges. Built in 1929, the classic house has decorated archways and frescoed ceilings with chandeliers. The highlight of the home is the many loggias and patios — each surrounded by lush greenery and gardens.
"The Spanish-style home measures 6,289 square feet with 4 beds and 5.5 baths. The master suite includes a fireplace, private beauty salon and opens up to a terrace with ocean views."
