Toni Braxton is paying tribute to her niece Lauren “LoLo” Braxton after her death earlier this week. The singer shared a photo and a few poignant words about the unexpected loss on Instagram.
Under a picture of the two of them on the red carpet, Toni, 51, wrote, “R.I.P to my amazing niece Lauren ‘Lo Lo’ Braxton…I’m still in disbelief and so very heartbroken. Love you…always auntie ‘Te Te.'”
Lauren died in Maryland on April 29 after complications related to a heart condition.
According to a report, law enforcement were dispatched to her home after receiving a 911 call. Lauren was found unresponsive at the scene and was pronounced dead by paramedics.

The 24-year-old was the daughter of Toni’s younger brother Michael Conrad Braxton Jr.
Michael, who is a singer-songwriter, has appeared on Braxton Family Values alongside his other sisters: Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar.
Trina also used Instagram to pay tribute to her niece. Under a photo she wrote, “God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven Lauren ‘LoLo’ Braxton.”
