Former figure skating star Tonya Harding broke down in tears on the last episode of Dancing with the Stars when talking about her deceased father. "I lost my very best friend," she said.
When Tonya's coach asked her who her most valuable person was, the former Olympian said, "My daddy, I lost my dad nine years ago."
"When I lost my dad I lost my very best friend," she continued. "He loved his little girl and I loved him."
"When everybody else in the world was against me, my dad was still in my corner," Tonya, 47, said through tears. She and her father were so close since she had a very tumultuous relationship with her mother, which was depicted in the film I, Tonya.
