Tori Spelling addressed speculation that she would be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise on December 13. The actress is a big fan of the hit Bravo series and finally put the rumors to bed.
The BH90210 star, 46, set the record straight at Disney On Ice Holiday Skating Party. Tori attended the bash celebrating the arrival of Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party with her family in Los Angeles.
“I do not want to be on the Housewives, I could never do that,” she admitted to Us Weekly at the event. “I am like, ‘That drama …’ but, God, I love to watch it and I’m friends with the cast. I’m just like, ‘Nope, I just wanna watch it on TV.’”
Tori added that she “would get eaten alive” by the cast. “RHOBH one of my favorite shows, but not to be on, just to watch. As a viewer like everyone else. I could never. I would get eaten alive. I am too nice and a people pleaser to be, to get in those fights they get into," she quipped.
Earlier this year, the mother of five made comments about taking a role on the franchise. However, at the Disney bash, she said that some have “misinterpreted” that as her wanting to be on RHOBH.
In August, Tori revealed in an interview with Jenny McCarthy that she was “really sad” that she and Beverly Hills 90210 costar and bestie Jennie Garth was asked to join RHOBH but she hadn’t. “I was born in Beverly Hills, so I have one thing going for me,” Tori explained at the time. “I’m married with a lot of kids, drama follows me everywhere, they’ve never asked me!”
Tori then laughed as she pictured Jennie on the Bravo show. “Imagine if you had done that show?” she said. “I just can’t picture — what would you do? Imagine you having to catfight with all of those women?”
