"I wonder if your kids get tired of being directed and produced for these paid promotions," another user said. One wrote, "Too bad your kids don't look like they're having fun." The Stori Telling author replied to one of the haters and said, "The answer is no bc we weren’t paid for anything in this picture. This is our tree and these are their jammies. Is that ok with you?” In response to one commenter, Tori said, "Just FYI we were not paid for anything in this picture. No exchange of $ at all. We are just complete fans of these products."
“Didn’t make any $ from this picture and not promoting anything aside from sharing our actual lives. This is us. Please make informed judgements," she wrote to another.
On the December 13 episode of her show Tori Tried and True, the daughter of Aaron Spelling admitted she's not great with money amid her family's financial problems. Fans asked Tori on her show about her financial management skills despite her ongoing lawsuits from two banks and her federal and state tax debt.
“I am not great with money, and I know a lot of people read a lot of stuff about my financial things going on,” she explained. “I had a business manager since I was 18 years old, so I never handled any of my money. Everything, everything, went to them, so unfortunately, I never quite learned about money. Now raising kids of my own, I’m like, that is so important.”
