Does Travis Scott's New Music Video Reveal Why He & Kylie Jenner Split?

Travis Scott released the highly anticipated song and video “Highest In The Room” days after he and baby mama Kylie Jenner called it quits on October 1. Even though the song was recorded months ago, it appears that the lyrics hint at his relationship drama (and eventual breakup) with the makeup mogul. The music video’s release also came one day after the reality star confirmed their split and Tyga broke his silence regarding an alleged rendezvous.
The track was initially used as part of a Kylie Cosmetics promotional video for KYBROWS that launched in April. The music video, released on October 4, opened with Travis, 28, as he smoked and stood beneath stormy clouds.
“I got room in my fume. She fill my mind up with ideas. I’m the highest in the room,” Travis sang in the music video as he walked through a crowd into a dark and spooky building. The clip was abstract and futuristic, and features robots, strip clubs, and more clouds.
Certain lyrics, however, stood out more than others. “I’m doing a show, I’ll be back soon. That ain’t what she wanna hear,” the rapper sang. “When I’m with you, I feel alive, You say you love me, don’t you lie.”

Travis continued, “Don’t cut my heart, don’t wanna die. Keep the pistol on my side.” The music video’s premiere followed a whirlwind few days for Travis and Kylie, 22.
On October 1, In Touch confirmed that the “Sicko Mode” rapper and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star broke up after dating for over two years. The former couple hadn’t been seen out in public together in weeks, and breakup rumors swirled in September. Travis and Kylie share 20-month-old daughter Stormi.
Kylie took to Twitter on October 3 to confirm her breakup with Travis and addressed how she was out with Tyga, 29, the day she and Travis split. However, Tyga had his own side of the story for fans. He allegedly accused Kylie of lying to her fans.
